From the time he picked up his grandfather's coronet and tooted along to the solo in "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" Altham Carson seemed destined to make music.
Similarly, his first memories are of accompanying his mother to the CBC studios, being quiet while she read the news and watching the audio engineers cut tape. Recording and production were also there from the beginning.
Classic Rock is Carson's main focus, the Beatles were his first favorite, but when he say the Rolling Stones in 1999 everything changed. From there guitar lessons followed shortly and horizons broadened: the who, ac/dc, blues and traditional country.
Altham Carson played in 2 moderately successful Toronto bands from 2004-2009, and he has been self producing and producing professionally since 2006. Carson's solo career began in earnest during the isolation period of the covid-19 pandemic with the single "You Want it All".
Altham Carson's latest single "When the Cat's Away" and latest production Radio Moth's "Hazy Dreams" EP are both available on bandcamp.
